It’s Friday afternoon & you’re looking forward to having a drink.
You deserve it.
It’s been a long week.
A drink helps you relax.
It helps you not think about work.
Not think about anything.
There’s nothing wrong with that first drink.
It’s the 4th that causes you problems.
You wrestle with whether or not to have it.
You know you won’t feel great tomorrow if you do.
But, at the time, that doesn’t seem so important.
It seems more important to have another drink.
To keep feeling good.
Tomorrow you’ll wake up & be frustrated.
Asking yourself what your problem is.
Wondering why you keep doing this.
You want to drink less but you just can’t seem to do it.
You’re in control of the rest of your life.
But not this.
You’re sick of thinking about it.
Sick of the debates with yourself.
Sick of feeling like crap.
You want things to be different.
You try, but it doesn’t stick.
You don’t see how you’ll ever do it.
You don’t think you can.
I know you can do it.
You can drink less long-term.
Without feeling tortured.
And still feel relaxed.
And still have fun.
I’ve done it.
I help my clients do it.
I can help you do it.
